# 241 The Uncool Dance Band - Jaqueline

Side a: Jaqueline
Side b: No. 17
UK 1981
First (of two) output from this Doncaster/UK band. The track "No.17" is also on the compilation called "Locical steps". But this is a different (not so catchy) version of this song. Meet one of the band members here.

I have to pass this tag to fellow bloggers who have love the same music I do.
I visit your blog regularly and always find music I love here so I am tagging you.

Rules are:

1. You have to post a song that makes you happy.
2. You can tag as many people as you want, there is no limit.
3. Say at least one thing about each blog you tag, that will make them smile, something nice about their blog that makes you smile when you read it!

Follow this link to check out where I have tagged you. http://apatchworkofflesh.blogspot.com/2009/11/you-got-good-taste.html

great to find this on here! My own band, Tubeless hearts were bankhouse management stable mates with the uncools and The Gents as the 80's dawned - I think it was the Uncools who recommended fairview studios to us, where Jaqueline was recorded, as was our double A side single for the Bankhouse label "Posh Records" There's been an amazing amount of interest in the old powerpop stuff from that era. Someone has posted recordings of ours on Youtube here:
